This year’s Notable New Mexican is Sid Gutierrez, the New Mexico Astronaut. I emceed his award presentation on June 2, 2010. He’ll be at this event at the Albuquerque Museum. I’ll be the Emcee at the Young Artists Presentation which will be held on the Santa Fe Plaza. You’ll see the spectacular artwork from some of New Mexico’s promising young artists. After the presentation, I’ll be doing a book signing on Plaza at 12:30 p.m. It’s a great way to spend a summer day in Santa Fe!

The Book Fair will take place at Cookin’ Books in Chama on Saturday, June 5, from 11am to 3pm. This is a chance for residents to meet me and other authors to discuss our books. Best selling author David Morrell–best known for his Rambo series– will also be a part of the Fair and residents are also invited to the film documentary of Rambo and to hear Morrell speak on his writing career and love of New Mexico at Cookin’ Books Friday night, June 4, 7pm.
